The Parade

Celtic Nations

We invite families to join with a family membership and local groups to apply for participation in our parade to support our mission of promoting the historical importance and legacy of St. Patrick, who introduced Christianity to Ireland.  Join us as we parade through downtown Ponchatoula and send families home with the fixin's for a proper Irish dinner!

Parade: Saturday, March 7, 2026 @ 10:30am.

2025 Parade Route

The parade led by the Kilts of Many Colours heads North on S. 8th Street at the entry of the shopping center to Pine Street (Main Street). The parade will then turn right at 8th & Pine Street (Main Street) heading East, cross the railroad tracks, and continue to 5th Street (corner by Berryland Motors). The parade will turn south on 5th Street and disband at the First Methodist Church parking lot.

Saint Patrick's Day, or the Feast of Saint Patrick, is a cultural and religious celebration held on 17 March, the traditional death date of Saint Patrick, the foremost patron saint of Ireland.
