Welcome to Our 2023 Celtic Heritage Festival Queens!

 We are please to announce that we have 4 amazing young women to represent our organization for the 2022/2023 festival season! Our new 2023 Celtic Hertage Festival Queens will travel throughout the state and represent our Festival and KoE Organization at festivals, pageants, Celtic events and will reign over the 2023 Shenanigans and Hooligans Celtic Heritage Festival They are: Miss Queen Lacey Lemmon Hailing from Churchpoint, LA, Lacey is 21, who besides working as a Pet groomer, teaches dance and enjoys barrel racing! While new to the Festival Pageant circuit, she can't wait to start traveling and representing our amazing organization! MS Queen Roxanee Lemmon Besides being our Miss Queen's mother (!!),  she is the mother of 3 children, the 2022 Lady Project Pink Ambassador and hails from Lafayette.  We love having the family connection! (some duplication from previous post may exist! LOL- we TIRED!!0 Thanks to everyone who came out to our inaugural festival!!! It only took 3 years to get our first Fest from table to reality (thanks Covid and Hurricane Ida!), but everyone who came out agreed it was worth the wait! If you missed it, be sure to mark your calendars for next year- September 23rd! It wouldn't be a KoE Fest without the Kilts of Many Colors! People came from all over- inclusing surrounding states!!! Smithfield Fair- celebrating 50 years in the music business this year! 44 vendors for shopping delights! 2023 Celtic Heritage Queens Pageant and Changes to Royal Court

 With the successful advent of our Shenanigans and Hooligans Celtic Festival, and it becoming a confirmed festival with the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals, the Krewe of Erin Board has made changes to our Royal Court System. On  October 30, 2022  we will crown 4 NEW Shenanigans and Hooligans Festival Celtic Heritage Queens , from Jr division up to Ms division. These CONTRACTED Queens will travel the state of Louisiana, promoting our Festival and representing our organization. Our Miss Queen will have the opportunity to run for the LAFF Queen (Queen of all Fairs and Festivals) in February of 2023.  The age divions shall be: Jr - 12-14 years old Teen-   15-17 years old Miss- 18-23 years old, must be single,never married, no children Ms - 24 years old and up, married or single Applicants do NOT have to be memberes of KoE, nor do they have to be Celtic. They will be asked some Celtic info, and beginning in 2024, there will be a study guide they will have to learn.  KoE DOES

2022 Shenanigans and Hooligans Fest Was a SUCCESS!!!

  Our first annual Shenanigans and Hooligans Celtic Fest was a resounding success, with just the minor hiccup of a major heatwave- but NO tropical storm or wave! If you missed the Men in Kilts Dance Off Contest, you missed the BEST part of the day! Kudos to ALL the participants for dancing in wool in 90+ degree heat, and congrats to the winner- Dave #5 (tan skirt). He set the bar for winning that future contestants will have to live up to! Everybody had a blast, and this dance off looks to be the annual fav at our fest! Our bands were just stupendously BRILLIANT- how they could play in the heat was beyond our belief! We couldnt pick a favorite, and bet you couldn't either!! Our Cook Off judges had a HARD time scoring both scones and marmalade! Teen winner for both Teen divisions (and sole entry for both unfortunately) was our Teen Queen of Erin, Lilly Ingle! In our Adult Scones division it was tough, but KOE Member Michelle Lott pulled off the win with her yummy blueberry scones, n
