High School JUNIORS and young ladies, up to age 22, may apply to be Queen of Erin.
REQUIREMENTS:
Annual Themed Essay is 75% of score, 25% are questions asked.
Membership in the Krewe of Erin at least the prior year is REQUIRED
If not selected, entrant will automatically become a Maid of Erin for the year.
COMMITMENT:
The Queen is required to sign a LEGALLY binding contract, with set rules, restrictions, and required attendance at LOCAL and state events. All are not negotiable! A list of these WILL be given with the Queen's application.
If you can NOT meet those commitments, please ONLY apply for Maid.
Our new Lady in Waiting, Teen of Erin, wears the Duchess Tiara and travels with, or without the Queen during the year.
Must be Senior Jr Maid or Maid, to apply to be the Lady in Waiting.
REQUIREMENTS
Service to Krewe and Community is taken into consideration by the Board. who selects one Teen for the position.
Then must complete with required Art Work/Short Essay for jr Maid or Annual Themed Essay for Maids. Then interview questions by Board.

MAID
High School Sophomores, and young ladies, up to age 22. may apply to be a Maid of Erin.
Note: you do not have to apply to be Queen.

Must submit original artwork (8 ½ X 11 drawing or other medium) symbolizing the
selected year's theme, and must include a paragraph describing their art and its significance, to the selected year's theme.Must submit original artwork (8 ½ X 11 drawing or other medium) symbolizing the year's theme.

COMMITMENT:
6th-9th grade: Must submit original artwork (8 ½ X 11 drawing or other medium) symbolizing the
selected year's theme, and must include a short essay (3 paragraphs) describing their art and its significance, to the selected year's theme.Applications and theme will be released to CURRENT Royal Court Members in October.
Theme and applications will be released to the public in November.
Application links will be posted on THIS page, when they are available.
Applicants will be advised VIA PHONE, by the Queen's Committee if they are selected, and given further instructions at that time.
